Senior SAP HCM Consultant – French Payroll

About the role

Strada is seeking a Senior SAP HCM Consultant specialized in French payroll to join its Professional Services team in Spain. You will provide expert support to outsourced SAP customers, ensuring payroll processes run smoothly across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver application support consultancy, advising customers on SAP HCM French payroll issues.
• Manage complex tickets, project and change requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain bug‑free ABAP code and customizations following Strada best practices.
• Execute system tests with provided or self‑generated data to validate specifications.
• Produce technical and functional documentation for handled issues.
• Prioritize daily workload, report status to the AMO Team Manager, and maintain clear communication channels.
• Coach junior team members and act as subject‑matter expert for French legal payroll changes.
• Collaborate with Strada France to balance workload and identify automation opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business or technical field.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in French and English.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM French payroll and overall HR flows.
• Service‑oriented mindset with a client‑focus and high accountability.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with discretion for confidential information.
• Relevant certifications (ECP/HCM, ABAP) are a plus.
