Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

As a Senior SEO Specialist you will lead the development and execution of SEO and generative‑AI driven strategies for multiple global websites. Working within Ingersoll Rand’s Center of Excellence, you will collaborate with Web, Marketing Communications and Business Unit teams to boost organic visibility and drive results.

Key responsibilities

• Stay up‑to‑date with SEO, internet‑marketing trends and generative‑AI advancements (AEO/GEO/AIO) and apply them to improve search performance.
• Monitor and analyse search results across major engines and large language models, providing actionable insights.
• Serve as the primary SEO contact for Business Unit stakeholders, coordinating with content creators, marketing managers and leadership.
• Design and implement AI‑enhanced strategies to increase search visibility and user engagement.
• Guide content development aligned with SEO goals, including keyword targeting, topical relevance and content optimisation.
• Optimise website architecture – URLs, internal linking, sitemaps and structured data – to enhance crawlability and indexability.
• Advise on link‑building tactics that support brand SEO objectives.
• Deliver training and support to marketing teams on both fundamental and advanced SEO techniques.

Required profile

• Strong passion for SEO and internet marketing with proven experience in a senior‑level role.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to work in a global, cross‑functional environment.
