Senior Social Media Specialist

About the role

Glovo, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Senior Social Media Specialist in Barcelona. The role covers community management, content support, KPI reporting and paid social monitoring, working closely with PR, communications, design and regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to comments, messages and mentions on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and other platforms, engaging followers, employees, partners and creators
• Handle community challenges and negative comments together with the PR and Communications teams
• Support design and content teams in brainstorming, producing and publishing social content, including on-camera and behind-the-scenes production days
• Collect and organize KPIs, prepare monthly performance reports and suggest optimizations based on engagement, reach and trend insights
• Assist in monitoring paid social campaigns and ad performance, flagging optimization opportunities aligned with organic content
• Attend shoots to support creative direction and capture social-first content
• Take part in creative meetings and campaign planning with design, brand, communications and regional teams

Required profile

• 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, community management or digital marketing
• Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and social media analytics tools
• Strong understanding of social trends, content formats and audience engagement strategies
• Comfortable with content production, community management (including crisis handling) and reporting
• Highly organized, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Data-driven, willing to test, learn and optimize campaigns, and comfortable appearing on camera for social videos and internal content
