Senior SRE Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own and mature reliability, performance, and security across Codeway’s growing platform of consumer apps. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, infrastructure, and security, working closely with product teams to make reliability measurable and continuously improve our multi‑cluster Kubernetes environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, instrument, and report on SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
• Own end‑to‑end observability including metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting, and reduce detection and resolution times.
• Operate, scale, and upgrade a multi‑cluster GKE environment, handling cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, and networking.
• Run reliability reviews and enforce error‑budget policies to balance shipping speed and stability.
• Lead incident response, perform post‑mortems, and drive automation to prevent recurrence.
• Build standards, processes, tooling, and automation that form the foundation of the SRE function.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in site reliability, platform engineering, or related fields.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on with large‑scale, consumer‑facing services.
• Strong data‑driven mindset to make reliability decisions based on measurable indicators.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross‑functional product engineering teams.
