Service Bulletin Leader - Military Aircraft

About the role

A vacancy for a Service Bulletin Leader has opened at Airbus Defence & Space in Seville, within the Customer Services Engineering Support department, covering the C295 and A400M platforms. The Service Bulletin is the official document giving operators the technical data for approved modifications and inspection procedures on in-service aircraft. The holder is accountable for delivering Service Bulletins on time, on cost and with quality, supporting airworthiness and safety requirements, customer needs and contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up subcontractor deliverables for the Service Bulletin under responsibility.
• Agree with the relevant organisations a corrective action plan for each significant in-service technical issue, assess difficulties and propose alternatives where needed.
• Interface with the Design Office and coordinate with the Airworthiness Office on safety-related actions.
• Control and coordinate answers to Service Bulletin incidents and technical queries from customers, with Front Office support.
• Support customers and MRO organisations with questions about issued Service Bulletins and their implementation.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in customer services, design office, manufacturing engineering or MAP.
• Experience with the A400M and/or C295 desirable; experience with Service Bulletins is a plus.
• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Negotiation-level English and Spanish.
• Ability to manage conflicts proactively, effective decision-making, assertiveness and international business experience.
• Willingness to travel for business.
