SHEQ Manager – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The SHEQ Manager will support the delivery of a comprehensive Health, Safety, Environmental and ISCC service across Olleco Bunge’s operations in Andalucía or the Basque Country. The role ensures compliance with legislation, ISO standards and drives continuous improvement in safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the Spain SHEQ strategy and chair the monthly SHEQ Board.
• Produce and analyse monthly SHEQ reports, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Implement, maintain and improve SHEQ management systems to meet ISO, ISCC and legal requirements.
• Plan and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
• Lead accident and near‑miss investigations with root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Promote safe working practices, deliver SHEQ training and support safety improvement programmes.
• Liaise with regulators, auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Technical degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in health & safety, preferably in waste or logistics sectors.
• Strong knowledge of environmental systems and ISCC requirements.
• Full, valid driving licence.
