Social Media Manager

About the role

As the Social Media Manager at Destinus, you will shape the digital perception of a leading UAV defence company. You will own the end‑to‑end process of content creation, publishing and performance optimisation across LinkedIn, X, YouTube and the corporate website.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling copy and visual content for all social channels.
• Develop and maintain a cross‑platform content calendar aligned with product updates and company priorities.
• Coordinate event‑related communications, including live posts, short‑form video and post‑event summaries.
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Maintain the news and events sections of the corporate website.
• Track, analyse and report on performance metrics, driving continuous optimisation.
• Travel 35‑40% of the time to capture on‑site content at exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Native‑level English with strong writing and editing abilities.
• Proven experience managing corporate social media accounts on LinkedIn, X and YouTube.
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Good understanding of the defence and military industry landscape.
• High attention to detail and ability to ensure consistent tone and quality.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for event coverage.
