Social Media Manager

About the role

Preply is looking for a creative, hands‑on Social Media Manager to own and grow its presence on TikTok and Snapchat. You will shape strategy, produce content, engage the community and turn insights into high‑performing ideas while collaborating across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end strategy and execution for TikTok and Snapchat, from planning and production to posting and performance tracking.
• Ideate, script and create scroll‑stopping short‑form videos, often appearing on‑camera yourself.
• Build and maintain content calendars, coordinate shoots and ensure timely delivery aligned with brand guidelines.
• Manage community interactions through comments, direct messages and proactive engagement, writing witty on‑brand copy.
• Monitor channel metrics, extract insights and continuously optimise content performance.
• Stay ahead of platform trends, formats and cultural moments, testing new ideas regularly.
• Collaborate with internal teams – employer brand, product, influencer, and external creators – to produce cross‑functional campaigns.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in organic social media and community management, preferably on TikTok and Snapchat.
• Passion for social trends and a strong on‑camera presence.
• Excellent copywriting skills with a witty, brand‑consistent voice.
• Data‑driven mindset, able to translate performance insights into actionable improvements.
