Social Media Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Museum of Senses in Madrid is looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing Specialist to shape and grow its digital presence. You will work closely with the Brand and Marketing Manager, the Group Online Director, and other market teams to ensure a consistent, engaging online voice that drives awareness, visitor interaction, and ticket sales.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage engaging social media content (posts, reels, stories, short‑form video) for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms.
• Coordinate outsourced creators such as photographers, videographers, and designers, ensuring brand alignment and trend relevance.
• Plan and execute content calendars, monitor performance metrics, and optimise based on data‑driven insights.
• Engage with the community by handling comments, direct messages, and user‑generated content while maintaining a positive brand voice.
• Identify, outreach, and manage collaborations with local influencers and creators, tracking campaign performance.
• Adapt global campaigns for the Spanish market, translating content and spotting local partnership opportunities.
• Produce blog articles and editorial content to support SEO and storytelling.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing or content creation.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and current social media trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple markets and adapt global guidelines locally.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience analysing engagement metrics.
