Social Media Strategist

About the role

BE Creative, a video‑first social media agency, is looking for a Social Media Strategist to own a portfolio of client accounts from strategy through execution. You will shape content that drives business results across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run social strategies for up to six client accounts on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Own content calendars, create short‑form video scripts, design graphics, and manage daily community interactions.
• Provide creative direction on set, plan and optimise paid campaigns, and report performance insights in plain language.
• Collaborate with local creators and stay ahead of platform trends and algorithm changes.

Required profile

• Five CSEC subjects including Maths and English.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a portfolio of campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset, able to turn data into actionable decisions.
• Self‑motivated, punctual, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Google Sheets.
• Hands‑on experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Figma.
• Real‑world knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Buffer and paid social advertising on Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn.
• Expertise in creating short‑form video content for Reels and TikTok.
