Solutions Architect

About the role

Huawei is seeking a proactive Solutions Architect to join its team in Trinidad and Tobago. In this position you will act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging cutting‑edge technology with business needs and driving digital transformation for telecom and enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide expert pre‑sales support and guide customers through complex challenges.
• Deliver high‑level presentations and live demos of Huawei’s technology portfolio, highlighting business value and ROI.
• Represent Huawei at trade shows, exhibitions and seminars, showcasing leadership in telecommunications, IT and cloud.
• Engage directly with customers to identify pain points, design bespoke solutions and collaborate with internal technical teams.
• Assess existing customer infrastructures, identify gaps and propose scalable, future‑proof solutions.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and channel partners, including technical training, solution design, quotation preparation and joint marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or technical sales within the telecommunications sector; experience with telecom operators is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to translate technical concepts into business benefits.
• Strong desire for continuous professional growth in the fast‑changing ICT industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field is preferred.
