Stress Methods & Tools Validation Internship (XPLORER 2027)

About the role

Ready to join one of Airbus' programmes in Spain? This curricular practicum is aimed at final‑year Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering students who will develop a project that counts as their Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute a final‑year training project focused on validation and verification of new stress analysis methodologies and tools.
• Define and implement a validation strategy that compares predictions with Finite Element models, analytical approaches and physical test results.
• Collaborate with the structural analysis tools team (1AMXS) to assess accuracy, representativeness and applicability range of the new methods.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree, final year.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 (C1 desirable).
• Team spirit and strong collaboration skills in an international environment.
