Supply Planner – Growth Role (Madrid or Barcelona)

About the role

Spandex is seeking a proactive Supply Planner to join its fast‑paced, international team in either Madrid or Barcelona. The role focuses on balancing supply, demand and inventory to drive performance while supporting the company’s growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage purchase and replenishment plans based on demand forecasts.
• Ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
• Manage safety stock, reorder points and service‑level targets.
• Optimize inventory turnover and reduce obsolescence and excess stock.
• Lead and coach a team of two procurement agents.
• Own large orders and strategic projects, including supplier negotiations.
• Manage and follow up purchase orders with suppliers, monitoring lead times, MOQs and performance.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks proactively.
• Collaborate with Procurement on supplier strategy and improvements.
• Analyze demand variability with Sales and Product teams.
• Track KPIs such as service level, inventory levels, backorders and forecast accuracy.
• Identify cost‑saving and optimisation opportunities.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Finance teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply planning or inventory management.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP knowledge, preferably SAP.
