System Integration Manager (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Dematic is looking for a System Integration Manager (SIM) based in Madrid, Spain, to provide operational and technical project support to the Spanish team across its project portfolio. The SIM ensures the successful technical delivery of automation systems from project execution through to final acceptance, meeting technical, throughput, quality and customer requirements. The role is fixed-term.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure technical delivery of systems that meet Dematic's sold requirements, focusing on throughput and acceptance testing.
• Assess throughout the project whether the system continues to meet customer needs and escalate issues, which may lead to internal changes or scope variations.
• Minimise non-conformance costs by driving pre-site testing and quality verification to reduce defects entering the site phase.
• Integrate all sub-systems supplied within a Dematic solution correctly and handle "what if" exception cases.
• Verify solution pre-sales and agree acceptance testing criteria so the project can be delivered successfully.
• Validate simulation and emulation models so their results represent the completed system.
• Take part in the FDS / SFS process, validating and approving its content.
• Plan, prepare and execute Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Testing, manage issues and analyse data during testing.
• Prepare availability models and measure them.
