Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People team in Barcelona. In this full‑time position you will drive end‑to‑end recruitment for a range of roles across our international locations, supporting our hyper‑growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: CV review, phone screens, interview coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn, social media, university networks and other channels to build a strong pipeline.
• Partner with hiring managers to define needs, set expectations and ensure high‑quality, long‑term hires.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date candidate pipeline in our ATS (JazzHR) and track recruitment metrics.
• Use data and analytics to identify bottlenecks, improve time‑to‑hire and quality‑of‑hire.
• Provide a smooth, professional candidate experience at every stage.
• Represent Smadex at networking events, university fairs and e‑meetups to promote our culture.
• Collaborate with the broader HR and Office team to achieve recruitment goals and strengthen the employer brand.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of in‑house recruiting experience in a fast‑paced start‑up or hyper‑growth tech environment.
• Experience in tech recruitment is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to handle both high‑volume hiring and specialist searches.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Confident communicator who builds rapport with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
• Curious mindset with genuine interest in talent acquisition.
