Tax Supervisor (Temporary)

About the role

PepsiCo Iberia is seeking a temporary Tax Supervisor to lead tax compliance for its Spanish and Portuguese entities. The role ensures accurate and timely filing of a wide range of tax returns and supports the finance team with tax‑related analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the preparation and filing of tax returns for Spain and Portugal across multiple administrations (VAT, SII, Intrastat, IGIC, sugar tax, plastic tax, etc.).
• Manage tax compliance procedures, including responding to tax authority inquiries, handling certificates, and processing non‑periodic returns.
• Oversee annual closings, analyse balance sheets and P&L statements from a tax perspective, and prepare consolidated income tax returns.
• Provide support during tax audits and handle information requests from federal and local tax authorities.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing documentation and collaborate with Finance and Accounting on Transfer Pricing policies.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or Law.
• 4‑5+ years of experience in tax compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• SAP expertise.
• Advanced Excel.
• Power Automate or other automation tools.
