Technical & Business Analyst

About the role

The Technical & Business Analyst will lead end‑to‑end analysis and solution design for Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions within the Sales & Marketing domain. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, you will translate business needs into clear, testable technical specifications and ensure delivery of high‑quality, compliant, and scalable integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product Owners to elicit, clarify, and document business and technical requirements while maintaining scope control.
• Own API integration analysis for new and existing connections, producing interface specifications and impact assessments.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for major releases, manage pilot user groups, and consolidate feedback into improvement proposals.
• Drive incident triage and root‑cause analysis across integrations, documenting outcomes in ServiceNow and Confluence.
• Support Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) and maintain transparent documentation of changes, risks, and dependencies.
• Contribute to compliance and architecture documentation (e.g., LeanIX) and support annual security checks.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure API health, stability, and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration (preferred).
• Fluent English (B2‑C1); German is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical or business analysis within digital marketing or IT environments, preferably with DAM solutions.
• Proven experience coordinating API‑based integrations and leading UAT activities.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 5% of the time.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of DAM platforms and content distribution architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, authentication/authorization patterns, and integration testing.
• Familiarity with Jira or Asana, ServiceNow, Confluence, and LeanIX.
• Awareness of security and compliance documentation practices.
• Basic knowledge of cloud‑native services and CI/CD concepts.
