Temporary Cybersecurity Evaluator

About the role

Airbus Helicopters España is looking for a temporary Cybersecurity Evaluator based in Albacete, working through an agency. The role covers security exception handling, coordination of penetration tests and tracking of vulnerability remediation across the Airbus Group.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and process security exceptions, ensuring proper documentation, risk assessment and compensatory controls, and collaborating with teams to enable secure deployments.
• Assist in organizing internal and external penetration tests, including scope definition, scheduling and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee the group-wide response to vulnerabilities and compliance issues, coordinating with subsidiaries and subsidiary offices to review non-conformities and track remediation progress.
• Monitor and track remediation actions, retesting implemented solutions to confirm their effectiveness.
• Contribute to improving security exception management and vulnerability remediation processes, including automation.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security or a related field.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices.
• Proven ability to analyse security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organisation and attention to detail.
• English is a must.

Required skills

• Familiarity with common vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies.
• Desirable: certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH or equivalent.
• Desirable: experience with vulnerability management and GRC platforms, and with compliance frameworks such as NIS2 and GDPR.
• Desirable: scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), ticketing and project management tools (JIRA, ServiceNow), and knowledge of AI agents in cybersecurity.
