Temporary Lecturer – Geomatics Engineering (Faculty Pool)

About the role

The Department of Geomatics Engineering at California State University, Fresno seeks qualified candidates for a temporary faculty pool. Selected lecturers will teach undergraduate courses in surveying, remote sensing, CAD, and related subjects on an as‑needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and assess lectures, labs, quizzes, projects, and exams for assigned courses.
• Maintain office hours and provide academic support to students.
• Ensure classes meet scheduled times and follow the assigned delivery mode (in‑person, hybrid, synchronous, or asynchronous).
• Adhere to university and system‑wide policies as outlined in the Academic Policy Manual.
• Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States; the university does not sponsor work visas.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Geomatics Engineering, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses listed in the posting.
• Compliance with budget and enrollment considerations for conditional appointments.
