Tender and Sales Specialist - Grid Connection Services

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. is looking for a Service Tender and Sales Engineer in Cordoba to develop service business opportunities within its Grid Connection portfolio. The role sits at the heart of the commercial process, working with customers, sales and marketing teams and technical experts to build competitive service proposals and support negotiations. It suits engineers who enjoy both the technical and commercial side of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial service tenders for customers
• Analyse customer requirements and develop competitive solutions: single tenders, frame agreements or service agreements
• Support the sales organisation through the bid and proposal process
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, suppliers and commercial teams
• Develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Negotiate technical and commercial aspects of service agreements
• Ensure proposals meet customer specifications and company standards
• Support contract reviews, amendments and scope adjustments
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders and contribute to the service business's growth and profitability

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialisation in Electrical Engineering
• Open to entry-level candidates as well as professionals with 3+ years of relevant technical tendering experience in the electrical industry
• Experience in substation systems with a focus on services
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and team skills, with a proactive, results-driven approach
