Test Support System Integrator (Getafe)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Test Support System Integrator to join its Getafe (Madrid) site. You will work with test means and laboratory equipment to ensure successful validation and verification of aerospace systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare test means for system, subsystem, equipment, component or module validation activities.
• Maintain test‑mean configuration using dedicated configuration‑management tools.
• Perform maintenance, failure investigations and problem solving on test means.
• Handle Unit Under Test (UUT) safely and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Develop and deliver test‑solution systems, including test environments, specific user programs, communication protocols and rig stimulations.
• Support subsystem and system integration testing, qualification and certification.
• Integrate, verify and validate laboratory test means before delivery to the final customer.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (any discipline).
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
• High adaptability to new topics and strong teamwork orientation.
• Advanced level of English.

Required skills

• C++ software development.
• Qt cross‑platform development.
• Software testing and validation.
• Experience with configuration‑management tools.
• Knowledge of flight or rig test environments is a plus.
