Trade Payables Product Vice President

About the role

The Global Trade Payables team at Santander CIB is looking for a senior leader to drive the development and commercialization of trade payables solutions, with a focus on Supply Chain Finance. Based in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, the VP will shape product strategy, innovate new offerings and ensure market relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage a portfolio of Trade Payables products, including Confirming, Purchase Order Finance, Dynamic Discounting and Deep‑Tier SCF.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead end‑to‑end product delivery: ideation, business case, global strategy, compliance, legal approval and go‑to‑market execution.
• Collaborate closely with Origination, B&CF, PDM and other stakeholders across geographies.
• Promote innovation by integrating new technologies and methodologies into product design.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product development and commercialization within the financial services or supply‑chain finance sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market insights into actionable product features.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience at senior level, capable of driving teams and influencing senior executives.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Finance solutions (Confirming, Purchase Order Finance, Dynamic Discounting, Deep‑Tier SCF).
• Product development lifecycle management.
• Market research and data analysis.
