Trainee in Sales

About the role

Fundcraft is looking for a Trainee in Sales in Girona to support its Sales team in growing the business and expanding its footprint in the asset management industry. The role gives hands-on exposure to B2B enterprise sales, market research and pipeline management, and reports directly to the Sales Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Help the Sales Directors research target prospects, identify key decision-makers and build qualified lead lists in the asset management industry.
• Support the preparation of pitch decks, client proposals and customised sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate data in the CRM, track deals through the pipeline and help with sales reporting.
• Coordinate follow-ups with leads and support outreach campaigns with marketing partners.
• Work with Pre-Sales, Marketing and Product to gather information for client proposals and RFPs.
• Monitor industry trends, market news and competitor activity and share insights with the sales team.
• Handle general commercial administration and ad-hoc sales projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final-year student in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• Strong interest in B2B sales, commercial strategy and the asset management/fintech sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• High-level English; other European languages are a plus.
• Organised, detail-oriented, proactive and eager to learn from experienced commercial leaders.

Required skills

• Eagerness to learn CRM tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot and sales intelligence technologies.
