Video Editor – Long-form YouTube Content

About the role

As a Video Editor focused on long‑form YouTube content, you will join Preply’s Creative Studio and collaborate with cinematographers, motion designers and the Brand, Supply and Marketing teams to turn raw footage into engaging stories.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end editing of medium (5+ min) and long‑form (10+ min) YouTube videos, shaping structure, selects and rhythm.
• Handle full audio pass: dialogue clean‑up, music selection, simple sound design and mixing to delivery specs.
• Manage colour correction and grading for a consistent, on‑brand look across mixed sources.
• Apply motion‑design templates and create lower thirds, captions and simple overlays in After Effects or Premiere Pro.
• Deliver final masters with correct codecs, aspect ratios, captions and organized hand‑offs.

Required profile

• 7+ years of video‑editing experience with a strong portfolio of long‑form content (10+ min videos).
• Proven narrative‑editing craft, making confident decisions on structure and pacing with minimal oversight.
• Solid audio post‑production skills, including dialogue editing, music selection and basic sound design.
• Experience integrating AI tools to accelerate editing workflows.
• Organised, detail‑oriented approach to file structure, naming conventions and versioning.
