Waiter/Waitress – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join the team at Soho House’s flagship venue in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. The role focuses on delivering a memorable dining experience to our members, combining high‑quality service with the club’s distinctive hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members, present menus and ensure tables are properly set before seating.
• Take food and beverage orders, communicate them accurately to the kitchen and bar staff, and serve dishes and drinks promptly.
• Open and pour wine or champagne, keep glasses topped up, and attend to any special dietary or allergy requirements.
• Check on members throughout the service, respond to additional requests and handle payment using card or the SHApp.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, and perform opening and closing duties for the service area.

Required profile

• Up to 2 years of experience in a busy, high‑profile restaurant or hotel venue.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with a natural hospitality charm.
• Strong attention to detail, reliable and able to work well in a fast‑paced environment.
• Organised, able to multitask and follow written and verbal instructions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems for order entry and payment processing.
