1-to-1 School Support Assistant – Marbella (Start Aug 31, 2026)

About the role

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and physically active assistant to support a 9‑year‑old full‑time wheelchair user at school in Marbella. The role starts on 31 August 2026 and runs during the school term, providing daily assistance to ensure safe access, inclusion, and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers between wheelchair, standing frame, and other equipment.
• Provide personal care, including bathroom routines and changing clothes for PE and swimming lessons.
• Support basic stretching and physiotherapy exercises under guidance.
• Escort the student safely around the school grounds and facilitate full participation in classroom and sports activities.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in Spain (valid NIE/TIE with work permission).
• Physical stamina for lifting and transfers.
• Fluent English; intermediate Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to provide clean background checks (Spanish sexual offences certificate and UK DBS/ICPC where applicable).
• Patient, caring, organized, and enthusiastic personality.
