2º Jefe de Mantenimiento

About the role

The Barcelona Hotel Group is looking for a motivated 2º Jefe de Mantenimiento to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of its facilities in Granada. You will support the Head of Department in planning, supervising and executing maintenance activities across the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Organise repairs, improvements and preventive maintenance for installations, machinery, furniture and the building.
• Verify that invoicing for maintenance services is accurate.
• Prepare budget studies for equipment, installations and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Supervise the material store, controlling inventory entries and exits.
• Conduct physical inventories of machinery, installations and furniture.
• Oversee garden and sports‑facility maintenance.
• Plan special‑event works such as banquets and conferences.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations.
• Propose disinfection and pest‑control programmes in line with official health standards.
• Assist the department head with staff scheduling, attendance records and personnel changes.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in maintenance (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio).
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and basic hospitality operations is a plus.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
