A330 MRTT LMA Technician B1/B2

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for B1/B2 LMA technicians for the A330 MRTT at its MRO centre in San Pablo, near Seville. The role contributes to the expansion of the A330 MRTT maintenance programme and is a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections on Airbus A330 MRTT aircraft.
• Carry out preventive, corrective and repair maintenance in line with approved maintenance data and applicable aviation regulations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems affecting mechanical, structural, electrical, avionics and aircraft systems.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.
• Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of the licence and company authorisation, and complete aircraft records to ensure airworthiness.
• Collaborate with production and other maintenance teams (engineering, quality, planning and production control) to deliver on quality, cost and time.
• Support continuous improvement, operational excellence and Lean activities, and take part in technical training and the on-the-job training of other technicians.

Required profile

• Part-66 B1 and/or B2 aircraft maintenance licence.
• Airbus A330 type rating matching the licence; military A330 MRTT type rating (B1 and/or B2) highly valued.
• Experience in base maintenance (heavy checks or major inspections) or line maintenance on A330 aircraft in a Part-145 organisation.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team, under pressure, with a strong commitment to safety, human factors, quality and continuous improvement.
• Good technical English.

Required skills

• Interpretation of aircraft maintenance manuals (AM), IPC, SRM, TSM and other approved technical documentation.
• Maintenance certification within the scope of the licence and company authorisation.
