A350 Quality Conformance Engineer

About the role

Airbus Operations in Cádiz is looking for an A350 Quality Conformance Engineer to join its Quality team. The role guarantees that products and processes meet customer specifications and Production Organization Approval (POA) requirements, acting as the focal point for quality conformance on the A350 program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex quality problems and non-conformities, implementing action plans to eliminate deviations.
• Ensure adherence to key quality standards (BMS) at CDT HTP level, including Product Process Verification (PPV), Operational Surveillance (OS) and Quality Authorization (QAs).
• Monitor, optimize and set measurement standards for KPIs to improve process repeatability, adherence and product quality.
• Manage and improve environmental conditions in the manufacturing halls while supporting Q&T and supplier quality management.
• Participate in and lead Airbus Operating System (AOS) routines, especially the Quality Performance System (QPS).
• Deploy continuous improvement projects using methods such as LBIP+ and APQP.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (aeronautical, industrial or related).
• Proven experience in Quality, Production or Manufacturing Engineering in an industrial setting.
• Organized, proactive and structured, with strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Quality tools and standards: APQP, PPV, OS, QAs, BMS.
• Root-cause analysis and continuous improvement methods (LBIP+/AOS).
