Accountant – Finance & Controlling

About the role

Jazzya Investments is seeking a proactive Accountant to join its multidisciplinary team in Madrid. You will support the full accounting cycle, financial controlling, and reporting for a diverse portfolio of companies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting cycle and ensure accurate journal entries.
• Organise, correct, and consolidate accounting records.
• Manage bank remittances, supplier payments and bank reconciliations.
• Validate supplier documentation, invoices and support fiscal closings for VAT and personal income tax.
• Prepare periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and conduct financial controlling activities such as budgeting, forecasting, deviation analysis and risk identification.
• Assist with audit control and analyse the company’s financial statements.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish tax regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication.
