Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join the finance team supporting the Formula 1 Madrid project at MATCH Hospitality. Based in Valencia, you will handle day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations in a fast‑paced international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor payments and support accounts‑receivable reconciliation.
• Process supplier invoices and employee expenses, run payments and reconcile supplier statements.
• Assist month‑end closing, journal entries, balance‑sheet reviews and monthly financial reporting.
• Support treasury activities, bank reconciliations and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Help prepare VAT and other tax filings and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audit processes and maintain strong financial controls.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, including accounts payable/receivable.
• Exposure to month‑end close processes, reconciliations and audit support.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
