Accountant – Hybrid (Finance Team)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. You will be responsible for analytical review of trade transactions and ensuring accurate accounting across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate complex accounting processes and assess their impact on the profit & loss statement.
• Analyse financial discrepancies arising from automatic and manual processes.
• Enhance data analytics to provide deeper insights for decision‑making.
• Optimise work papers and accounting procedures proactively.
• Review year‑to‑date trends, detect inconsistencies and evaluate their effect on EBITDA.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders and support resolution.
• Maintain accurate accounting flows and database integrity, including regular consistency checks.
• Understand product flow processes and anticipate integration issues.
• Assist stakeholders with accounting matters and support EBITDA follow‑up and new product integration.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Fluent English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
