Accountant – Tax & Bookkeeping Specialist

About the role

Exactly Accountancy is seeking a motivated Accountant to join its growing team in Altea. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality tax and bookkeeping services to expats and entrepreneurs operating in Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and companies.
• Provide tax advice and answer client queries.
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Communicate with the Agencia Tributaria on behalf of clients.
• Guide clients through self‑employment (autónomo) registration and company formation processes.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of Spanish bookkeeping and tax regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English.
• Customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Resides in Altea or willing to relocate.
