Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Join Exoticca’s fast‑growing Finance team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will own the full AP cycle, ensure accurate and timely payments for ground travel products, and support key financial reporting such as balance sheets and cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all A/P‑related journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules for year‑end close.
• Develop deep understanding of flight ticketing, intercompany operations and the accounting lifecycle.
• Prepare monthly A/P aging reports and assess invoice accuracy.
• Partner with Land & Travel Operations to identify efficiency synergies.
• Monitor payment hub dashboards and resolve vendor and internal queries promptly.
• Conduct variance analysis of A/P accounts against budget and prior periods.
• Serve as functional owner for A/P flows in NetSuite, driving automation and control improvements.
• Execute monthly reconciliations to maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, collaborative and solution‑oriented accounting professional.
• Proven experience managing the end‑to‑end accounts payable cycle.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Ability to work with intercompany transactions and complex accounting processes.

Required skills

• NetSuite (ERP) proficiency.
