Accounts Payable Specialist

About the role

Exoticca is a fast‑growing online travel agency seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Finance team. You will own the full A/P cycle, ensure timely and accurate payments for ground travel products, and support key financial reporting such as balance sheets and cash‑flow statements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all A/P‑related journal entries, reconciliations and schedules for month‑end and year‑end close.
• Prepare monthly A/P aging reports and assess invoice accuracy and collectability.
• Validate and match invoices, ensuring data integrity across all transactions.
• Partner with Land & Travel Operations to identify process synergies and improve efficiency.
• Monitor payment hub dashboards, resolve vendor and internal queries promptly.
• Conduct variance analysis of A/P accounts against budget and prior periods, communicating insights to Finance leadership.
• Serve as functional owner of A/P flows in NetSuite, driving automation of controls and reconciliations.
