Accounts Receivable Specialist (French/English)

About the role

We are a leading health and wellness company seeking a bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, collections, and customer relationships across France and other regions. The role is essential to ensure timely cash flow and accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, verify, and send customer invoices and credit notes in line with company policies and local tax regulations.
• Monitor aging reports and conduct proactive collection activities to secure timely payments.
• Perform cash application, accurately recording and reconciling incoming payments against outstanding invoices.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and payment disputes in collaboration with customers and the sales department.
• Communicate in French and English with clients to manage credit limits and overdue accounts.
• Execute month‑end closing tasks, including AR reconciliations and Bad Debt provision reporting.
• Maintain customer master data and support internal or external audits.
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives within the Order‑to‑Cash cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in a shared service center or multinational environment is a plus.
