AI Auditor - Technology Risk (Staff)

About the role

EY GDS Spain is looking for a staff-level Artificial Intelligence Auditor to join its Technology Risk IT Audit team in Malaga. You will take part in strategic projects reviewing AI governance models, internal controls and regulatory compliance, and advise major clients on deploying Responsible AI. The role is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Define, establish and review AI governance models aligned with strategy and business objectives.
• Develop and oversee organizational and operational models for the AI function.
• Validate existing AI controls, assessing their design, implementation and effectiveness.
• Perform algorithm audits, reviewing KPIs such as robustness, security, bias and interpretability.
• Run automated tests with CAAT tools such as ACL, IDEA and Alteryx to check the integrity of AI-related processes.
• Recommend improvements and advise clients on strengthening controls in their technology and AI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with the European AI Act and other regulations, and act as a point of contact for AI regulatory matters.
• Review AI analytical models using traditional and generative techniques, and advise on standards such as ISO 42001 and NIST RMF.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in AI, AI risk management or AI model auditing.
• Team player with strong communication, analytical and organizational skills, initiative and customer orientation.
• High-level English (at least B1).

Required skills

• Ideally: experience defining AI governance policies and models.
• Ideally: advanced knowledge of traditional and generative AI.
• Ideally: experience in regulatory compliance and knowledge of ISO 42001, NIST RMF and similar frameworks.
