AI Staff Engineer

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is building the team that defines how AI changes Product Engineering. This is a senior software engineering role focused on AI and agent expertise, based in the AI & DevEx area. You will work hands-on as a senior engineer, partnering with squads across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve the skills, sub-agents, guardrails, tools and verification that make agents produce high-quality output.
• Build the shared knowledge base that agents read from and write into, growing it across the organization.
• Own cloud dev environments, CI runtime, ephemeral environments on demand and migration tooling, including the autonomous-delivery rails.
• Find where AI removes friction from a squad's way of working, from planning and coordination to communication.
• Build measurement baselines, DORA metrics and adoption tracking, and optimize inference costs with model routing, prompt caching and self-hosted vs frontier models.
• Ensure production-quality code with testing, design patterns, CI/CD and observability.

Required profile

• 5+ years building and operating production software at meaningful scale, owning systems end to end.
• 1-2 years of LLM applications shipped to production, with a working command of context engineering, RAG, multi-agent systems and evals.
• Proven author of skills, sub-agents, evals and verification harnesses.
• Proficiency in business English.
• Bonus: public artefacts on agent harnesses or AI tooling, experience building internal tools or developer platforms, and comfort with ambiguity at startup speed.

Required skills

• RESTful APIs, relational databases and SQL.
• Distributed and async/event-driven patterns (queues, messaging).
• CI/CD, observability and monitoring.
• LLM application stack: context engineering, RAG, multi-agent orchestration.
