AI Technical Architect – SAP Solutions (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced AI Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and scaling of AI solutions within a global, PE‑backed manufacturing organization. The role focuses on integrating AI across SAP landscapes to drive efficiency in finance, supply chain, procurement, sales, and warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI solutions using SAP AI technologies and data platforms.
• Build AI capabilities across core business processes such as finance, supply chain, procurement, sales, and warehousing.
• Integrate enterprise, manufacturing, and operational data into AI‑driven workflows.
• Develop scalable architectures across SAP BTP, S/4HANA, and related environments.
• Support AI deployment, MLOps, governance, and long‑term platform maintainability.
• Ensure compliance, auditability, and regulated AI practices.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical specialists.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify high‑impact use cases.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture, engineering, or enterprise technology.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP, AI Core, Datasphere, Business AI, and S/4HANA.
• Deep understanding of finance, supply chain, procurement, sales, and operational processes.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams while staying hands‑on.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments is a plus.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are beneficial.
