ERP/SAP Solution Architect

About the role

Avenga is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a global organization in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. You will work within the ERP & Business Solutions area, shaping enterprise‑scale digital solutions on an SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Design maintainable and scalable solutions within a complex SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Define robust data structures and integration solutions together with development teams.
• Assess business requirements from a technical perspective and recommend sustainable, long‑term solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to developers and consultants.
• Participate in design reviews, promote clean‑code practices, and ensure high‑quality delivery in an agile setting.
• Translate Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management requirements into effective SAP S/4HANA solutions.
• Consider regulatory and compliance requirements (GxP, GDPR, FDA, EMA, CSV) throughout the solution lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or senior technical leader with strong SAP S/4HANA expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management processes.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (pharmaceutical, healthcare or biotech) and familiarity with GxP, CSV, GDPR.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Good knowledge of Agile and SAFe methodologies and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
• Fluent business English and willingness to work onsite in Madrid twice a week.
