Airline Representative – Madrid

About the role

The Airline Representative acts as the operational liaison for Air Transat at Madrid airport, ensuring each flight complies with airline quality standards, safety requirements and local regulations. You will coordinate all aspects of flight operations, supervise ground handling, and guarantee safe, efficient and punctual aircraft turnarounds.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee passenger check‑in, seat allocation, boarding procedures and baggage compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise all turnaround activities, including disembarkation, boarding, refuelling, cleaning, catering and baggage loading.
• Manage daily airline operations, covering passenger services, baggage handling, cargo, mail and load control support.
• Handle airport slot allocation, monitor flight schedules and implement adjustments as needed.
• Ensure operational documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with airline and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with airline quality standards and regulatory obligations.
• Experience managing aircraft turnarounds within scheduled timescales.
• Capability to maintain strong working relationships with airline, airport and handling partners.
• Focus on controlling operational costs without compromising safety or service quality.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary circa €22,000 per year (full‑time equivalent).
• Variable weekly hours: 20 h in September, 12 h in October, 8 h in November‑December, with schedule thereafter based on airline operational needs.
