Android Engineer – Remote (UK Timezone)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Engineer to join DICE’s Product team and create an exceptional live‑entertainment experience on Android. The role is fully remote, aligned with the UK timezone, and focuses on building fan‑centric features that keep users returning to the app.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the existing Android application.
• Design, develop, and trial new features for fans, artists and partners.
• Solve technical challenges in a large, modular code base.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional squads on varied projects.

Required profile

• Passionate about music and live culture.
• Ownership‑driven and proactive in production environments.
• Strong communicator and problem‑solver.
• Committed to building apps that have a positive impact.

Required skills

• Kotlin
• MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns
• Coroutines
• Jetpack libraries: Compose, Room, WorkManager
• Retrofit
• Hilt for dependency injection
• Android SDK 29+
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Bitrise, Slack, Figma, Notion
