APAC Tax Manager

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring an APAC Tax Manager to join its Tax practice. Working closely with the Head of Tax and the wider team, you will help with the tax compliance and tax strategy of the Group. The position involves relocation to Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing tax team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Own and manage the comprehensive tax calendar for direct and indirect taxes across all relevant jurisdictions.
• Coordinate and review indirect and direct tax compliance processes.
• Research and analyse direct and indirect taxation matters and provide tailored advice.
• Identify risks and tax planning opportunities, determine uncertain tax exposures and manage taxation provisions.
• Collaborate with third-party service providers and work with Finance and Accounting teams on the application of tax laws.
• Support indirect and direct tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, alongside providers and local finance teams.
• Prepare applications for tax rulings, incentives and exemptions where available.
• Advise senior management on tax risks and transaction structures for acquisitions.
• Contribute to improving tax processes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of senior taxation experience in practice or industry, focused on the APAC region.
• Proven experience managing, mentoring or leading team members.
• Solid experience establishing and monitoring tax calendars for direct and indirect taxes.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Law or Tax.
• Tax knowledge across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with strong project management skills; fluent English (other languages a plus).
