Application Responsible - Flowable Applications (100%)

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an Application Responsible for Flowable applications, working 100% in Madrid. You will lead the technical change of one or several commercial-off-the-shelf applications and own their lifecycle management, including operations, vulnerability management and release planning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical change of owned applications and ensure adherence to architecture standards and guidelines, identifying and mitigating risks where gaps exist
• Translate business requirements into technical capabilities and supervise software development and technical implementation
• Ensure appropriate unit testing and decide with the IT Service Owner on production readiness from an IT perspective
• Size the required development resources, own estimations and product offerings, and plan releases within the Change and Release Management framework
• Guide an agile team (or the equivalent setup in classic delivery) and collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects and the delivery team
• Provide Level 3 support within the incident and problem management support organization

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Application Responsible, Technical Lead or Lead Developer
• Proven experience as a Java developer with at least 5 years in enterprise-level application development
• Excellent understanding of software architecture, enterprise architecture and development processes
• Decisive, result-oriented and able to work effectively under high pressure

Required skills

• Hands-on knowledge of modern business process and case management platforms, including CMMN and BPMN
• Understanding of IT service management principles such as ITIL
• Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure and applications, including hardware, software and networking
