Applications Engineer – Robotics & AGV

About the role

As an Applications Engineer in Stäubli's Robotics & AGV division, you will support both internal teams and external customers throughout the project lifecycle. You will be involved in pre‑sales activities, implementation, post‑sales support, and continuous improvement of robotic solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Program robots and PLCs and deliver operator training at Stäubli facilities and customer sites.
• Develop custom robotic applications in collaboration with clients and partner suppliers.
• Provide technical hotline support and assist the sales team with simulations and project definition.
• Create demonstration cells and support technical exhibitions and trade fairs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and system commissioning on customer premises.
• Attend training sessions at the group headquarters and produce internal reports on completed tasks.
• Contribute to achieving the technical department’s goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• CFGS/CFGM studies in robotics or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in robot and PLC programming.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (≈30% of time) and a valid Spanish driving licence.
• Fluent Spanish (C2) and good English (B2) – spoken, written and understood.
• Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability and resilience.
