Applications Support Specialist (Grants Funding & Early Access)

About the role

Omega CRM, a Merkle company and part of the dentsu group, is looking for an Applications Support Specialist to join its ITMS Strategic Marketing and Healthcare Solutions (SMHS) team. The role works within the DevOps Lectrona product team as a developer, supporting the Grants Funding and Early Access systems so that quality releases can be delivered to business partners on time. The person is expected to become the IT subject-matter expert for these systems, including hands-on development and configuration.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the Grants Funding and Early Access systems updated and compliant.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into specifications.
• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and maintenance, and apply updates as needed.
• Create and maintain system documentation.
• Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and processes.
• Become a SmartSimple Cloud Configuration Specialist.
• Ensure availability and performance of the solutions and their environments.
• Handle tickets created in the Service Management tool for these applications.

Required profile

• Completed or in-progress degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a developer or similar role, preferably in global companies or similar environments.
• Experience developing, configuring and maintaining complex systems, and knowledge of cloud solutions.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Positive, self-sufficient and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL.
• Writing prompts for AI.
• Agile (Scrum); ITIL change and incident management, JIRA, Service Now or similar tools are a plus.
