Assembly Quality Engineer – A350 MDCD New Development Program (Temp Agency)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Assembly Quality Engineer to join the Quality team on the fast‑paced A350 MDCD New Development Program. You will ensure that all assembled components meet strict aerospace standards, support digital transformation, and work closely with international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee product quality and compliance with established processes.
• Define and cascade critical quality standards such as FMEA, MSA, and problem‑solving methods.
• Manage quality deviations, concessions and provide compliance guidance.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier performance to meet program requirements.
• Conduct process and product audits, lead root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive digital tools and predictive analytics for traceability and decision‑making.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to reduce non‑quality costs.
• Collaborate with Design, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure "quality by design" and manufacturability.

Required profile

• University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in assembly quality or engineering, specifically in aircraft structure and system assembly.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace regulations (EN/AS9100, EASA Part 21G/J).
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.

Required skills

• FMEA, MSA, 8D, Ishikawa, SPC.
• Laser measurement technologies and measurement system analysis.
• Tooling quality expertise.
• Quality Management Systems (QMS) mastery.
• Familiarity with MES, PLM and SAP.
