Assistant Front Office Manager – Ponent Beach

About the role

Join the Barceló Ponent Beach team as an Assistant Front Office Manager. You will work closely with the Front Office Head to ensure smooth daily operations, guest satisfaction, and optimal room management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily planning of short‑, medium‑ and long‑term room reservations, occupancy reports, statistics, no‑show lists and VIP guest handling.
• Verify group rooming lists, allocate rooms and manage changes.
• Register and assign rooms personally to guests when required.
• Handle guest complaints directly and communicate issues to the relevant departments.
• Propose operational improvements to the Department Head.
• Collaborate with the Reception Manager and senior management on room rate policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, Business Administration or related field, or a higher vocational qualification in Hospitality.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar front‑office or reception role.
• High level of English; additional language is a plus.
• Knowledge of office software and reservation systems is valued.
• Strong communication, customer orientation, teamwork, planning, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Capability to lead and manage a team.
