Assistant Manager, Business and Regulatory Initiatives

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Business and Regulatory Initiatives will oversee governance and management of regulatory requirements, risk, and operational issues across a range of banking products. You will work closely with multiple internal partners to ensure compliance while supporting business growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate low‑to‑medium complexity initiatives that support acquisition, retention, and growth targets.
• Execute risk‑mitigation projects, close audit findings, and resolve operational risk events.
• Collaborate with operations, compliance, sales, IT, risk, treasury, legal, and fraud teams to streamline processes and improve client experience.
• Identify product risks and opportunities, recommend enhancements, and support revenue‑optimisation efforts.
• Provide regulatory impact analysis, address client issues, and act as liaison for internal audit, regulator, and client‑care requests.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct impact analysis.
• Knowledge of credit and lending products and processes.
• Familiarity with core banking systems such as RIBS and T24.
