Senior Capital & Investment Dealmaker

About the role

The Senior Capital & Investment Dealmaker will lead the sourcing, structuring and closing of capital and investment deals that fuel Hunter Stern Construction’s growth across residential, commercial and industrial projects. Based in Port of Spain, the role operates in a hybrid setting with some remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with the company’s project pipeline.
• Conduct financial, valuation and risk analyses and build detailed deal models.
• Prepare investment proposals, term sheets and presentations for senior leadership and investors.
• Negotiate terms with lenders, investors and strategic partners while maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field; advanced degree or CFA/CA/MBA is a plus.
• Senior‑level experience in investment banking, project finance, private equity or corporate development.
• Proven track record in capital raising, investment structuring and deal negotiation for construction or real‑estate projects.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
